Field Technician

Rapidly growing surveillance company is seeking an experienced field technician to install surveillance camera systems. This position requires understanding of technology as well as logistical job layout skills. Preferred applicants will have wiring skills, including connections and power supply. Must be computer literate and have some computer networking skills.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work in a group as well as individually. Must be reliable, have a valid driver’s license, and be willing and able to travel. Must possess solid customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and excellent written/oral communication skills.

Work schedule may vary according to the needs of the customer. Hours may occasionally include late night shifts, early mornings, overtime and weekends. Some overnight travel may be required. Must be flexible and adaptable.

Work conditions include some tight spaces, high ladder and lift work, and outside weather. Efficient, timely, and orderly work is required at all times. The ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, think and act quickly and make own decisions is essential.

This position may occasionally require the employee to be discreet, exposing them to confidential information. It is imperative that the employee adhere to company privacy policies at all times.
