Brick Wheels Uses Surveillance To Improve Customer Service

Brick Wheels is a high end bicycle shop which provides a wide variety of cycling equipment, rentals and repairs in this resort town.  Tim Brick’s reasoning for installing this system was to create an environment where no facet of the business would go unobserved.  Eos facilitated this by installing surveillance cameras throughout the inside of the facility and on the exterior of the building.

Within the first week post installation, the newly installed surveillance system had field proven its ability to identify an individual who had stepped outside the line of appropriate behavior.

Tim really enjoys a feature called Object Searching which allows him to highlight one specific item in the recorded footage.  When the Search function is activated, the system will fast forward through the entire day tracking the selected item.  When someone touches the object being searched, the system will stop and show who exactly has interacted with the object.  In addition, eos configured the managers’ computers with the ability to view all of the camera locations on their screens right in the business office as well.  This way, managers can see if a customer is not being attended and can act quickly to provide the customer with the exemplary level of service that is a business standard with Brick Wheels.
