Metal Prices USA is a manufacturing firm in Livonia, MI that specializes in the removal of scrap metal. This gives the public a method for removal of unwanted steel and enables them to receive compensation based on the weight of how much scrap they brought in.

Mike Racey (aka Iron Mike) installed a surveillance system from EOS so that he can now purchase steel right from his laptop. Because Mike has several locations, the remote viewing capability allows him to see exactly what steel is on his scales when he is not there.

We installed three high resolution day/night cameras, one of which provides him with the license plate numbers on every single vehicle that drives through the facility. This allows Iron Mike to give the authorities the proper information necessary to apprehend anyone who may illegally sell steel to this facility.

The 18x optical Pan Tilt Zoom camera that was installed in the main bay provides Mike with the ability to look at something extremely specific, such as the face of a customer. This camera is primarily used so that when Mike is not on site, he can zoom directly into the material placed on the scale. Due to the high optical resolution, Mike can see precisely what is being sold while he is not there.
